Hair Care

Proper care ensures long-lasting, reusable, and beautiful hair. Follow these simple instructions to keep your hair soft, shiny, and tangle-free.

General Hair Extension Care

1. Co-Wash Before Install

Gently wash your hair with a sulfate-free conditioner before your first install. This removes factory residue and adds softness.

2. Avoid Overwashing

Wash extensions only when needed (every 2–3 weeks or after buildup). Over washing can strip moisture and shorten lifespan.

3. Use Moisturizing Products

Use sulfate-free, alcohol-free shampoos and rich conditioners. Look for ingredients like argan oil, shea butter, and coconut oil.

4. Let Hair Air Dry When Possible

Blow-drying can cause frizz and dryness. Instead, air dry your bundles on a hanger or towel after washing.

5. Use Heat Protection

Before using hot tools (flat irons, curling wands), always apply a heat protectant to prevent heat damage.

6. Sleep Smart

Wrap hair in a satin bonnet or scarf to reduce tangling and preserve moisture. Use a satin pillowcase for added protection.

7. Avoid Heavy Oils & Greasy Products

They cause buildup and attract dirt. Use light serums or sprays for shine instead.

Clip-In Hair Extension Care Tips

1. Remove Daily (optional)

Take out your clip-ins before bed to avoid tension and breakage.

2. Detangle Before & After Use

Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush, starting from the ends and working up.

3. Store Properly

Place in a silk/satin bag or store flat in a box to keep them smooth and tangle-free between uses.

4. Refresh with Dry Shampoo

If you don’t want to wash them every week, use dry shampoo on the roots or wefts to absorb excess oils.

Curly Extension Care

1. Hydrate Regularly

Curly textures need more moisture! Use leave-in conditioner, curl creams, or water-based sprays 2–3x per week.

2. Define with the “Praying Hands” Method

Apply your curl products by smoothing them down the hair shaft with flat palms, then scrunch upward to define curls.

3. Detangle Gently (Never Dry)

Always detangle with conditioner in the hair using fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Start from ends and work up.

4. Refresh with a Water/Conditioner Mix

Keep a spray bottle with water + a few pumps of leave-in conditioner to revive curls between washes.

5. Air Dry or Diffuse on Low Heat

Avoid brushing when dry to preserve your curl pattern. Use a diffuser if you’re in a rush—but keep it on low!

Longevity Tips

  • Don’t cut the wefts unless needed
  • Avoid excessive dyeing/bleaching
  • Keep up with trims (especially curly ends)
  • Never sleep with wet hair
  • Deep condition every few weeks

With proper care, your extensions can last over a year!

Please remember to treat your extensions like your own hair—and they’ll stay gorgeous with every install.
